As a function venue, and with event planning we get one opportunity to meet our clients expectations. With every event we’re striving to make our clients’ dreams come true. So it’s a particular point of pride when our clients happily inform us that their event was all they dreamed it would be.

Diana Phakathi’s favourite memory from her function at Oak Tree is her mom making her grand entrance!

The occasion? Diana’s mom, Jenny’s, 45th Birthday Party.

Their colour scheme was gold, white and pink and Diana did all the event planning and baked the cake herself – a real labour of love.

Diana said, “The venue is literally like a blank canvas. You can do anything and everything you want. The staff were amazing, Eddie is super helpful. He was very hands-on and assisted me with everything I needed.”

These photos are evidence of this daughter’s love for her mother, and Jenny seems to have glowed all night!

Living in Kensington, Oak Tree was conveniently located for the guest of honour as well as all her guests.
